How To Force Restart iPhone

Step 1: Identify the iPhone Model
Before proceeding with a force restart it is essential to determine which generation model of iPhone you have. This is important because different models have different methods to force restart them. Generally there are three main categories of iPhones:
- iPhone 6S older models
- iPhone 7 7 Plus

Step 2: Perform the Force Restart
For iPhone 6S older models:

For iPhone 7 7 Plus:
Press hold both the Sleep/Wake Volume Down buttons simultaneously for around 10 seconds. Release the buttons when the Apple logo appears. Your iPhone will now reboot.
For iPhone 8 8 Plus X XR XS XS Max SE (2nd gen) 11 later models:
Press release the Volume Up button followed by the Volume Down button. Next press hold the Side button until the Apple logo emerges on the screen. Release the button your iPhone will perform a force restart.
